The annual study of more than 900 senior marketers explores the adoption, traction and success of digital marketing across the Asia-Pacific region.

This year, for the first time, the Digital Dashboard examines creative empowerment and content velocity within organisations – both of which are critical to delivering an integrated and compelling customer experience.

Key findings include:

  • 84% of APAC marketers use marketing technology to analyse and report, but only 4% believe they are doing a good job of measuring return on investment.
  • Mobile is still a priority, with 1 in 4 marketers saying an integrated mobile experience is a core element of their customer journey.
  • An organisation-wide creative vision enhances the customer experience – yet only 4% of marketers believe they have a highly evolved creative engine to support this.
  • Digital marketing is enjoying strong leadership support throughout the region, with CMOs driving marketing strategy in 29% of organisations.
